Conditions for obtaining service
- The applicant must be a Jordanian citizen.
Notes
For the persons who are born in 1989, they should bring a suspended military conscription or a final exemption certificate.

Procedures
- The applicant shall visit Health Professions Licensing Department, fill out the designated application and submit the enclosed documents.
- Upon reviewing the documents, the application is approved.
- The data of the applicant will be entered to the Professional License Issuing Program.
- The Professional License is issued.
- The Minister of Health or his/her representative signs the license.
- The applicant receives the Professional License.
Required Documents
- An approved and certified copy of the General Certificate of Secondary Education certificate.
- An approved and certified copy of the (BA) bachelor degree in midwifery.
- If the applicant is not a graduate of Jordanian universities, an equivalence letter for the BAr shall be obtained from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan.
- A copy of the diploma for graduates of Princess Muna College of Nursing approved and certified by the Jordanian Royal Medical Services.
- A non-criminal record certificate.
- A copy of the Civil Status ID card.
- Two (2) personal photographs.
- A valid copy of registration in Jordan Nurses and Midwives Association (JNMA).
Persons benefiting from the service
- Holders of a bachelor degree in midwifery.
- Holders of a nursing diploma in midwifery for three years.
